In the past we have spent all our energies on achieving short term goals. Now we need to focus on longer term strategies. In UPOA, the traditional focus on membership numbers, conference attendance, and sponsorship revenue remains. But more attention will now be given to building an educational platform for youngsters, engaging the members, and creating a network for training and advancement of skills. To be able to successfully aligning the interests and expectations of our members, we need to upgrade and modulate our framework: the UPOA constitution. It needs to evolve and change with time.

It has thus been decide to undertake the arduous task of constitutional amendments. Members are therefore requested to send their suggestions by May 31, 2019 to the UPOA Secretary on upoaoffice@gmail.com. This exercise can not achieve its objective without the active participation of each and every member of the association.
