National Conference
Nailscon2008 26-28 September Under the aegis of U.P.Orthopedic Association, Agra orthopedic Society organized nailscon-2008 from 26th September to 28th September 2008. At convention centre J.P Palace Hotel, Agra. With President Nails Prof (Dr.) K.K.Pruthi , Secretary Dr. Sunil Kulkarni, IOA president Prof. S.C.Goel, Dr. Vineet Sharma President U.P.Orthopedic Association, Secretary Dr. Dhirendra Singh in the chair. Chief Guest for the occasion was Prof. P.S.Maini Past President of IOA.The conference was attended by 565 deligates.On day one five workshop were conducted simultaneously namely P.F.N and Traffon , Phillos system, P.H.N, TEN nailing and Sirus. All the delegates had an opportunity for hands on by rotation in the 5 workshops. The faculty comprised of Dr. S.C.Goel, Dr. Sunil Kumar, Dr. Gadegone, Dr. Sunil Kulkarni, Dr. Shiv Shankar, Dr. T.Nagda, Dr. Patwardhan, Dr. Sudhir Kapoor, Dr.R. Chatterji, Dr. Vivek Mittal, & Dr. Ravi Sabharwal.The conference was held on 27th and 28th September 2008 with academic sessions by eminent Indian and international Faculty. Amongst the Indian stalwarts were –Prof. G.S.Kulkarni, Prof. S.S.Babulkar, Prof. Ashok Johri, Prof.S.S.Jha, Dr. T.K. Moitra, Prof. K K Pruthi, Prof. K.P. Srivastav, Dr.I A Khan, Dr. A. K.Varshney, Dr. Raj Gopalan, Dr.Ramchandran, Dr. Sahastrabuddhe, Dr. A.K. Jain, Dr Vineet Sharma, Dr M.K.A. Sherwani, Dr K. D.Tripathi, Dr. Sansar Dutt Sharma, Amongst the international faculty were Dr. Rajat Verma, Mrs.Sarah Phillips, Dr. A. R. G. Groom, Mr.G.Groom.On 27th Sept a banquet & gala musical evening was organized for the delegates where they had an enjoyable evening.
